LongField Installation Guide
Document status: General preparation guide. Release-specific instructions will be published with the verified package. No install command or package URL is published here because the exact release artifact and tested deployment procedure are not confirmed in this documentation set.
Before installation
- 1. Obtain the exact licensed LongField release and its matching checksum from an authorized delivery channel.
- 2. Read the system requirements, Software License, and release notes before preparing infrastructure.
- 3. Assign an administrator who can manage the target environment, backups, access, and recovery.
- 4. Identify whether the installation is a fresh environment, migration, or integration project. These services are separate from the self-service software package.
- 5. Prepare a non-production environment for initial installation and review.
Installation sequence
The verified package will include the applicable server-stack guide, configuration instructions, and any required migrations. Follow those release-specific instructions in order. Do not infer commands, environment variables, ports, or database operations from this overview.
After installation, verify the application using the release checklist. Review sign-in, firm/workspace boundaries, assigned access, sample records, document handling, backup, and restore procedures before production use.
Existing data
Do not import live records into a trial environment without authorization and a data-handling plan. Migration paths vary by source system, export availability, and data quality. LongField migration follows Export & Map โ Import & Validate โ Cut Over & Verify. A tested one-click Clio or Needles connector is not represented here.
Help
Installation labor, troubleshooting, server administration, and migration are not included in the Developer Pack. See the Support Policy or request a scoped assessment.
